Tree felling & removal
We are tree surgeons, which means we can carefully remove dangerous boughs, branches or entire trees without damaging nearby buildings, property or other trees. If you’re worried about leaning, diseased or dead trees, branches or boughs, call us and we’ll give you all the help and advice you need. And yes, everything will be chipped on site and removed carefully.
Tree thinning, pruning & shaping
All woody plants need to be pruned and trees are no different. As they grow, they need help to develop in the right direction which is where shaping can help. If your trees are getting bigger, you might need to thin them out to give the remaining ones a chance to grow as they were meant to. Ormonde TreeCare’s experts can help with this and more.
24-hour emergency service
Trees can fall anywhere at any time, particularly during and after bad weather. When that happens, call Ormonde TreeCare and we’ll be there to carefully lift, cut, remove and recycle any fallen trees, branches or debris, safely with no further danger to you or your property.
Fencing
Over the last 20 years we have built a reputation for quality in contract fencing. Under the brand Morrissey Fencing we have supplied and installed agricultural fencing (including electric fencing, post and rail fencing, deer fencing and stud fencing), industrial fencing, security fencing, forestry fencing, residential timber fencing and road and motorway fencing all over Ireland. If you need agricultural, garden, forestry, equestrian, security, sports grounds, parking or roadside fencing, call us for a quote now.
Mulching & chipping
If we fell trees or prune branches on your property, we will take care of the wood by chipping it onsite. We have everything from the very latest small tow behind chippers to large truck-mounted units which help to recycle the harvested timber quickly and efficiently. You can of course choose to retain the chippings for mulching your flowerbeds or we can take them away for composting.
Hedge cutting
From tractor-mounted hedge cutters for dealing with kilometre-long stretches of hedgerow to handheld trimmers used to tidy up gardens, talk to Ormonde TreeCare. We’ll give you advice, a quote and all of the peace of mind you need to deal with those wild hedgerows and unruly garden borders.
Crown reduction
Very often trees will need a crown reduction which involves removing the dead wood from the crown of the tree. By thinning it out like this, you allow more air and sunlight to reach the heart of the tree and this encourages growth, makes it healthier and it will look better. It also makes it safer by cutting away any dead branches that might fall naturally.
Tree surveys & inspections
If you have trees on your property you should have them inspected periodically, especially as they get bigger and older. The experienced tree surgeons at Ormonde TreeCare can tell you very quickly if your trees are healthy and if they need any assistance to thrive. Some local councils will require more detailed surveys to accompany any planning applications and we can help there too. A survey can detail the details of all the trees on your property, including species, number, condition, location and age.
Site clearance
The Ormonde TreeCare team will clear any site of any dead or standing wood, hedgerows, bramble and thick vegetation. Our machines can get to the most seemingly inaccessible sites and we’ll take everything away with us or recycle it onsite for you to use as mulch or compost.
Stump grinding
Whenever a tree is cut down, a stump remains. That stump can be inconvenient at best and a hazard at worst so you’re better off dealing with it sooner rather than later. We’ll take care of it for you, with advanced stump grinding machinery that will dig the wood out to below ground level which will give you back that part of your lawn or bed.
Bridge, motorway, railway maintenance
After stormy weather, especially if there have been high winds following heavy rain, trees can fall on roads, railway lines and be swept by rivers beneath bridges where they can form blockages. Call in the Ormonde TreeCare team and we’ll bring the experts with the heavy lifting, cutting and recycling equipment needed wherever and whenever you need it.
